Thailand TikTok Shop Fee Change After April 1, 2026
April 16, 2026 · 5 min read
TikTok Shop Thailand updated its commission and commerce growth fee rates effective April 1, 2026. If you're selling in Thailand and haven't recalculated your prices, you may be undercharging—and losing margin on every sale.
What Changed
Two fee components were updated for Thailand: the platform commission rate and the commerce growth fee rate. Both increased across all product categories.
| Fee Type | Category | Before Apr 1 | After Apr 1 | Change |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Commission | Electronics | 5.35% | 6.955% | +1.605pp |
| Commission | Other | 6.42% | 7.49% | +1.07pp |
| Commerce Growth | Electronics | 5.35% | 5.89% | +0.54pp |
| Commerce Growth | Other | 6.42% | 6.96% | +0.54pp |
pp = percentage points. Transaction fee (2%) and order processing fee remain unchanged.
How Much Does This Affect Your Price?
For a non-electronics product, the combined fee increase is approximately +1.61 percentage points (1.07pp commission + 0.54pp commerce growth). On a ฿200 selling price, this means an additional ฿3.22 in platform fees per order.
To maintain the same profit margin, you need to either:
- Increase your selling price by approximately ฿4–5 (accounting for the compounding effect of fees on price), or
- Reduce costs elsewhere (negotiate with supplier, optimize logistics), or
- Accept a slightly lower profit margin.
The Transaction Fee Formula Also Changed
In addition to the rate changes, the transaction fee calculation formula was updated for Thailand. Previously, the transaction fee was calculated on a different base. After April 1, 2026, it is calculated as a flat 2% of the selling price, consistent with other Southeast Asian markets.
This simplification makes pricing calculations more straightforward, but sellers who had modeled the old formula need to update their spreadsheets.
Action Items for Thailand Sellers
- Recalculate all your selling prices using the new fee rates. Use the pricing calculator (Thailand market, already updated to April 1 rates).
- Update your TikTok Shop listings with the new prices before or shortly after April 1 to avoid selling at a loss.
- Notify your influencer partners if you're running affiliate campaigns—higher platform fees may affect how you structure commission rates.
- Review your ad spend targets—higher fees mean a higher break-even ROAS. Recalculate your target ROAS for Thailand campaigns.
Calculator Already Updated
The TikTok Shop Pricing Calculator has been updated to use the April 1, 2026 Thailand fee rates. Select Thailand as your market and input your cost structure to get the correct recommended selling price under the new fee regime.
